On July 1st, Hurricane Beryl, a powerful Category 4 storm, made landfall across several Caribbean islands. It has since impacted communities in Venezuela and Mexico and recently brought havoc to different parts of Texas in the United States, with potential effects on multiple states as it moves north.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is actively supporting those affected by staying in close contact with our partners and presbytery leaders in the storm’s path. We offer our prayers, solidarity, and resources to help those in need. We are also working with the Synod of the Sun Partnership for Disaster Recovery (SPDR) to assess immediate needs and respond effectively.

We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available. You can support our efforts through our Hurricanes/Typhoons account. Your gifts, designated to DR000194, will provide crucial aid to those in need.

Your support and contributions make a difference. Together, we can provide hope and assistance to those impacted by Hurricane Beryl.
