Fall Folk Music Concert raises support for PDA
"Greetings!
"We're a small church with a big heart for helping others. I'm a part-time pastor with a worshipping congregation of about 45 people (including a few children).
"Thought you'd might like to know my creative way of doing mission despite our lack of financial resources and, most importantly, raising awareness to the public (average attendance 100) of various agencies that help others. Previous beneficiaries since the beginning (2009) of our bi-annual (Spring & Fall) concerts include Milford Pastoral Counseling Center, Beth El Shelter, Christian Community Action in New Haven, and now -- PDA! . . . Thank you for doing such good work!"
Rev. Anne Marie Meyerhoffer, pastor of United Presbyterian Church of Milford, Conn., shared a poster created about their upcoming event. November 8, 2014, they are presenting the fifth annual Fall Folk Music Concert featuring the Milford Folk Music Society. Proceeds will support the work of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and they are also collecting donations for their local food bank.
Thank you to United Presbyterian Church for creatively supporting mission around the world and in your own community. We hope the concert is a blessing for all those involved!
