Cost: $40 per person, per night

Sleeping accommodations: The rooms (3) are all located in the first floor of the building, and each has 2 full bathrooms. Next to the rooms there’s a dining hall, full kitchen and living room space, along a laundry room.

Other amenities: Rooms have AC, gated parking lot

About the site: Casita Ebenezer started hosting PDA groups in 2020 before the pandemic hit. The host site is located on the premises of Primera Iglesia Presbiteriana en Aguada, in what it used to be a private school. Minimum age required is 18, maximum capacity is 15 volunteers.

About the disaster: Hurricanes Irma and Maria caused damage to the community. Many houses lost their roofs. Rains and flooding caused several belongings. Torrential rain caused flooding and powerful winds lead to widespread power outages.The work of recovery is ongoing even years later as Hurricane Fiona did more damage across the island in the fall of 2022.
