Texas Panhandle Fires

 

Igniting on February 26th, the Smokehouse Creek Fire is the largest fire on record in Texas. There are several fires affecting this area and more than a million acres have been scorched.

PDA is working with the Synod of the Sun's Synod Presbyterian Disaster Relief (SPDR) on this response. An initial response grant has been approved. The grant will enable Palo Duro Presbytery to partner with the local congregation in Canadian, TX to assist with the recovery.
