Hurricane Iota made landfall as a strong Category 4 late Monday night with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph near Haulover, Nicaragua, or about 30 miles south of Puerto Cabezas, according to The National Hurricane Center. The landfall location of Iota was just 15 miles south of where Hurricane Eta made landfall as a Category 4 earlier this month on November 3rd.

Support includes WASH programs (water, sanitation and hygiene), shelter, medicines, PPE, food security and other necessary items. Later in the recovery process we will support rebuilding efforts, livelihood programs and other long-term recovery needs.
