The aftermath of Hurricane Eta in Nicaragua — Keith Sanaka

Hurricane Eta has claimed more than 100 lives and forced the evacuation of thousands of people.

PDA has been in contact with our partners affected by Hurricane Eta in Central America. This hurricane has caused great damage in many low-income communities. Continued rains and strong winds have wreaked havoc on several rural communities, especially in coastal cities. Our partners are preparing their response plans and we look forward to supporting them in assisting so many affected communities. Part of PDA's response will provide assistance with food security, hygiene, cleaning and rebuilding.
