Ebola and its Growing Implications for Health, Hunger and Livelihoods in West Africa
On November 3, 2014, a webinar was hosted by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to present information about the Ebola outbreak and its growing implications for health, hunger and livelihoods in Sierra Leone and Liberia. The specific focus was on the impacts of Ebola on rural communities involved with the West Africa Initiative (WAI), a collaboration between the Presbyterian Church (USA), Agricultural Missions, Inc., the Council of Churches in Sierra Leone, and the West Africa initiative of Liberia, as well as the response of other ecumenical partners.
