Romans 12 encourages us to use our bodies and minds to serve God. As individuals we have unique talents and skills. When we work together as a team we form one body to humbly serve others.

In late September, Salem (Oregon) First Presbyterian Church, supported by the congregation and PDA, went to Washington state to help rebuild two homes lost in the 2014 Carlton Complex wildfires. During a four day period the team installed drywall in two homes in remote areas of the beautiful Okanogan County located north of Wenatchee, Washington. The home owners had lost everything as the wildfires raced through the area. The team witnessed how God brings us together in times of need.
