Hospitality
PDA's hospitality ministry focuses on the long-term recovery of disaster impacted areas. By connecting volunteer work teams with rebuilding efforts and host sites around the nation, PDA enables congregations to witness to the healing love of Christ. It is PDA's mission to bring hope through hospitality.
Presbyteries and congregations who wish to host volunteers are offered experienced guidance and support as they prepare their facilities to be a Presbyterian Volunteer Host Sites and engage volunteers to help with the hospitality site. These congregations serve their communities by welcoming groups who are willing to come to help clean up and rebuild following hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, or other disasters.

Another way congregations can help is by serving as a way station or wayside – a place where volunteer work teams can stop a rest while they travel to or from a Presbyterian Volunteer Host Site.
