Philippines man

— Ulla Karki, ACT/FCA

Typhoon destroyed my house and my boat. We were left with nothing. My family now lives in a temporary shelter that I built with debris. We have received food assistance and non-food items. I have not been able to start fishing yet, but I am assembling the new net that I received as livelihood provision. Soon I will get a new boat, too. When I can fish again, I’ll earn about 200 pesos (US$ 5) per day, depending on the catch.
